Today Andrea and Gabor from Miskolc, Hungary, came for a day of snorkeling. At least this is what they thought leaving their hotel. By the time we left towards our boat, Saifon, they was on their tripp for Discover Scuba Diving

We had an absolutely fantastic dive at Koh Klung Badan with multiple stingrays, and a second dive at Koh Krock with the resident big turtle.

Both, Andrea and Gabor did exceptionally well with the skill practice and buoyancy control as well.

Ma Andrea és Gábor Miskolcról, eljöttek egy nap snorkelezésre. Legalább is igy gondolták a szállodájuk elhagyásakor. Mielőtt utunkat vettük a kikötőbe a Saifon nevű hajónkhoz, már a probamerülő program résztvevői voltak

Nagyon szép merüléseink voltak a Koh Klung Badan nevű szigetnél, ahol több ráját is láttunk, majd a Koh Krock szigetnél ahol is egy hatalmas rezidens teknőssel találkoztunk.

Mind Andrea, mind Gábor nagyon ügyesen teljesitették a vizalatti gyakorlatokat és szinte tökéletes lebegőképsséggel birtak.

Terry Ngai, living in Canada for the last 30 years or so, booked with us for a 7 day dive package. He came to us with a great attitude and we all had fun together. While his whole stay he just went diving and really did not see much of the other attractions available here and around Pattaya, Terry has already paid for another 7 day package for sometime next year. Hurry back, Terry, and we’ll fine tune your fining techniques and your buoyancy control.

Alicja and Darek are from different cities, but both of them from Poland.

It took three years to talk Darek to diving. At the end he came together with his friends. Alicja was a multiple first timer and Wlodek and Irek were certified divers.

We had great fun diving at Koh Rinn and the North Rock seeing moray eels, blue spotted sting rays and cuttle fishes.

Alicja i Darek są z różnych miast ale oboje z Polski.

Trwało to trzy lata żeby namówić Darka na nurkowanie. W końcu przyszedł ze swoimi przyjaciółmi żeby wziąść udział w tym programie. Alicja nie pierwszy raz uczestniczyła w tym programie a Włodek i Irek są licencjonowanymi nurkami.

Czuliśmy się bardzo dobrze przey cały dzień. Podczas nurkowań widzieliśmy płaszczki, mureny i kałamarnice.

Balazs is originaly from Hungary but he is living in Vienna, Austria, for last 10 years.

Six years ago Balazs, alias Balu, did participate in PADI Discover Scuba Diving with me. As you can see some people make decisions slower then others. The important thing is that he made the right decision and earned the PADI Open Water Diver certification.

He asked me to do the course in two days if possible. I told him that it will be a very hard job to do it that way. Balu is natural in the water and he completed everything on first go without any problems. He was tired at the end of the days, but happy.

Congratulation to this achievement and see you in July for your Advanced Open Water course.

Marcel, from Germany, came here with his friend, Dennis, who has been diving with before. Marcel wanted to try scuba diving so we did the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program with him and Dennis just did a couple of fun dives. Marcel did really quite well and should he want to pursue diving further he will become a very good scuba diver.

Marcel, aus Deutschland, kam hier mit seinem Freund, Dennis, der mit uns tauchen ging vor. Marcel wollte Tauchen versuchen so taten wir das PADI Discover Scuba Diving-Programm mit ihm und Dennis habe gerade ein paar Tauchgänge. Marcel tat wirklich sehr gut und sollte er wollen Tauchen weiter verfolgen wird er ein sehr guter Taucher werden.

Adrienne, studying in Beijing, China, came to us on a holiday and wanted to get her PADI Advanced Open Water Certificate. Our first dive dive at Koh Rin Beach we did the Deep Dive, the immediately after we did the Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, then a Underwater Digital Photography dive on North Rock, pictures by Adrienne below. The next day we did an Adventure Wreck Dive on the HTMS Khram and a Navigation Dive at Koh Sak. Adrienne had a few more days left and decided to do more diving, so we did another wreck and a deep drift dive.On her last day, Adrienne decided to go ahead and do her PADI Enriched Air Diver course. Congratulations, Adrienne, you passed with flying colors.Below are some of the pictures Adrienne took and a few more.

Murat, form Karsiyaka, Turkey, who has been diving with us on two occasions before for a few days at a time, came back to us mid January with the ambition to get closer to his Master Scuba Diver rating and together we decided this trip to get the PADI Wreck and Search and Recovery Specialties done. Doing our Search and Recovery we visited Kkoh Klung Bedan, where we were privileged to see a large (150 centimeter wing tip) Marble Ray (such as they are locally known but actually a Blotched fantail ray) and during the course of 5 days diving we visited Koh Rin, North Rock, Koh Man Wichai, Koh Krock , Koh Sak, Koh Pai, Hin Hu Chang and probably a few others plus the two wrecks, the HTMS Khram and the HTMS Kut. We had generally really good viz, up to 15 meters that week and nothing under 5 meters, except after a bunch of indiscreet divers passed on the wreck. We also worked on Murat’s buoyancy as he was complaining a little about that and got it to be really good. No kicking up silt while in the wrecks. Great job Murat. Now, Murat is interested in finishing off the Deep Specialty and the Underwater Digital Photography Specialty course and maybe even start the PADI Rescue Course on his next trip. Today this three friends, Artur, Lukasz and Tomasz from Wroclaw, Poland; absolved the PADI Open Water Diver course.

It was a really “crazy”. On the day before they came to try diving in the form of Discover Scuba Diving. After the program they liked it so much, that wanted to become certified divers. Being at the end of their holiday time they asked if it would be possible to accomplish it by the end of the next day. We planned it and did it.
After the return afternoon to the dive shop we headed off to the swimming pool and after that to classroom. By eleven o’clock we finished most of the theory and all the pool sessions was done too.
Next day on the way out to dive site we finished of the theory. After the dives, back in dive shop the guys passed their final exam and eight o’clock evening become certified PADI Open Water Divers. Congratulation!

Dziś trzech przyjaciół, Artur, Łukasz i Tomasz z Wrocławia, Polska; zakończyli kurs PADI Open Water Diver.

To był naprawdę szalony wyczyn. W dzień poprzedni chłopcy zgłosili się na wypróbowanie nurkowania poprzez Discover Scuba Diving. Po programie tak im się nurkowanie spodobało że chcieli stać się kwalifikowanymi nurkami. Ponieważ za dużo czasu już im nie zostało z wakacji, spytali czy mogliby ukończyć ten kurs do końca następnego dnia. Zaplanowaliśmy wszystko i to wykonaliśmy.
Po popołudniowym powrocie na bazę wyruszyliśmy do basenu a potem usiedliśmy w klasie aby uczyć się teorii. O jedenastej w nocy większość teorii była zaabsolwowana i wszystkie nurkowania basenowe zaliczone.
Następnego dnia w czasie wypłynięcia do miejsca nurkowego, na statku zakończyliśmy pozostałą część teorii. Po wykonaniu reszty nurkowań i powrocie na bazę nasi panowie napisali i przeszli przez egzamin końcowy i o godzinie ósmej wieczorem zostali nurkami PADI Open Water Diver. Gratulacje!

Andrzej from Ornontowice, Poland came for a holiday to Cambodia and Thailand with his wife Patrycja. Now that they are in Pattaya for few days, they wanted to spend a day relaxing on the sea.

Andrzej tried once scuba diving before in Egypt by doing a 20 minutes introductory dive. Now with us he did the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program including skills and two dives over 40 minutes. He did very well and understood the buoyancy control principles too.

On our dives at Koh Hu Chang and Koh Klung Baddan we spotted multiple blue spotted sting rays, porcupine puffer fishes and a extraordinary big group of golden trevallies.

Their holiday time is short but by next visit we will progress with Open Water Diver course.

Jamie and Carrington from Sherwood, Canada came to Thailand for holiday with their parrents. Because they was interested in scuba diving, they came to us to sign up for PADI Open Water Diver Course.

Both of them did very well in both areas, theory and practical sessions. They are very good divers.

During our open water dives we visited North Rock and Koh Rinn where we saw multiple creatures like sting rays, porcupine puffer fish and many other ones.
We also dived to the allowed limit of 18 meters and both of them was very excited with that. Now they want to progress toward deeper wreck dives. No problem, just come back for a bit more training.
