Mei's Open water Diver CertificateMei, who lives in Guangzhou, China, came to us with her fiancee, Murat, who has been diving with Adventure Divers for since the beginning of this year. She was not confident that she could swim but still was interested in learning scuba diving. Her academics went by very smoothly, but she kept expressing that she would not be able to swim. We spent time in pool getting confidence in the water and step by step, proved that she indeed could swim on her own and do more than a few laps. Then we pent the afternoon doing all the underwater skills that she would need to know before going to the ocean. Once we got out to the ocean, she performed really well underwater, mastering the skills we had learned in the pool. Murat was really proud of her as we at Adventure Divers are. Well done Mei, I really enjoyed teaching you and we hope to see you again shortly.

Here are some of the many pictures that Murat took

Yes, she needs ‘dive, dive, dive’!!! Actually Mei forgot to say one thing. When we talked with instructor, he said cant allow Mei to dive under 15 m, as she has only 6 dive experiance. But when he saw Mei really ‘relax’ underwater, even with her little experiance, he didnt hesitate to go deeper together with us. Its because of you Robert, you are very good teacher and also ‘my goat’ is really strong Chinese. Thanks again.

Hi, Robert! How are you going? We just came back from Turkey last day, and we spent very good time in the diving trip to the plane wreck in Bodrum (my new record 25 meters!!!). The visibility there is great, only water is cold for me. And we learnt that I need to practice buoyancy skill more from you. :-p
This year, I might not make a holiday to Thailand; but we will try to send Murat to you.
    We miss you all!!!

      Hello Mei

I am happy that you enjoyed Turkey. I am sure that Murat was proud to show you off to his friends and family. As far as your buoyancy we can do a Peak Performance Buoyancy dive which will help, but the best thing to do is dive, dive, dive. Hope to see both of you soon

      Robert
