Today Bruno from Santo Andre, Brazil passed his PADI Advanced Open Water course. Two weeks ago Bruno walked into Adventure Diver’s shop and wanted to try diving for the first time. He was a natural in the water and after just a moment of insecurity, got in his comfort zone and really enjoyed his diving experience. In fact, he enjoyed scuba diving for the first time so much that he signed up for the PADI Open Water Diver course before the boat got back.

After a day in the class room and a day in the pool, Bruno was ready to practice his new skills in the open ocean and to complete three more dives to earn his Open Water Certificate. He enjoyed his course so much that as he was receiving his certificate he booked the next weekend to do his PADI Advanced Open Water.

On this Advanced Open Water course, we did the Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, the Wreck Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigation Dive (Bruno will get better with practice), the Deep Adventure Dive, an Adventure Drift Dive and we combined a Fish Identification Dive with more navigation practice, so he got six dives for five.

Bruno will make a very good scuba diver if he keeps doing it as often as he can. Good Diving Bruno!!
