Sept 16-17 Liberty Wrecks Trip
Adventure Divers wants to regularly offer exciting scuba diving adventures and for the month of September, 2011, we are planning a trip to the Liberty Wrecks in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand to do three recreational wreck dives on three different wrecks, conditions and success finding them allowing. (Adventure Divers has put this trip on twice and we have been 
successful in finding all of them on the first trip, but on the second trip one of the wrecks eluded us so we dove one of the wrecks twice.)
The scuba diving boat, MV Saifon, will leave the night of Friday, September 16th, 2011, at around 2230 hours. We will steam throughout the night whilst most of us will be camped out on the boat sleeping, for about six hours. All of the wrecks lie at between 24 and 27 meters so on nitrox 36% we should have a bottom time of over 45 minutes on each. After a quick breakfast we will dive the first wreck and after a three hour surface interval and lunch, we will dive the second wreck, then again after a three hour surface interval, dive the third wreck. If we can stay on schedule we should start steaming back to Pattaya Bali Hai Pier by 1600 hours and make it back by 2200 hours. Dinner will served on the way back.
I have personally been on this trip 3 times and can say that because these wrecks are so rarely visited that they are all teeming with marine life and because they are so far out visibility can be up to 20 meters ( I have witnessed, though, down to 8 meters). The trip has always been well worth the effort.
This trip is for Advanced Open Water divers only. The Enriched Air Diver Qualification is highly recommended but divers who do not possess this qualification can receive it in conjunction with this trip.

- Transportation from Pattaya to the Pier and back to Pattaya
- Delicious Thai and western food, cooked on board, for lunch and Dinner
- Breakfast
- Water, coffee, tea, all day
- Assorted tropical Thai fruit
- Sandwiches for after dive snacks on the trip back
- 3 tanks nitrox

Count me in! The three wreck dive will certainly be an exciting adventure. This will be a great opportuntiy to dive a remote site that few ever get a change to visit. I’m changing my travel plans from October to September to join you and crew on the Saifon for what certainly will be a great diving experience.

Yes we still have quite a few places. I need at least 4 more before we can go and can still put in 10 more than that. Of course a close eye will have to be on the potential weather as in this time of the year we have to be careful.
